Dictionary paper

Dictionary paper, also known as Bible paper or Indian paper, is a special type of high-grade printing paper, so named because it was originally used primarily for printing Bibles, as well as other large reference books such as dictionaries, thesauruses, and classic works. Features

1. Quantity and Thickness: Dictionary paper is generally 25 to 50 g/m2, which is lighter and thinner than ordinary printing paper, making books printed on dictionary paper much lighter in overall weight, and thus more portable.
2. Physical properties: Dictionary paper has good strength and toughness, even after many times of flipping and folding will not be easily broken. Its surface is white and delicate, the texture is tight and smooth, and some varieties are even slightly transparent, increasing the comfort of reading.

Hygroscopicity and water resistance: Dictionary paper has a certain degree of hygroscopicity, which means that it is more sensitive to humidity, and is prone to hygroscopic deformation when encountering humid environments; at the same time, it also has a certain degree of water resistance, which can resist water penetration to a certain extent, and maintain the stability and durability of the paper.
