Valve bag

Valve bag, also known as vented bags or one-way vent bags, are specially designed packaging solutions for food, chemical, agricultural and other industrial products that require controlled internal gas exchange. These bags are fitted with one or more one-way valves that allow excess gases (e.g. carbon dioxide) to escape from the bag while preventing the entry of outside air, thus maintaining the freshness of the contents, extending shelf life and preventing oxidisation or spoilage.

Features

  1. One-way air permeability: The core feature is its one-way valve design, which only allows the gas to be discharged from the inside of the package to the outside, preventing the reverse infiltration of outside air and pollutants, and effectively maintains the stability of the gas environment inside the package.
  2. Freshness preservation effect: It is especially suitable for products that are easy to oxidise or need to breathe, such as coffee beans and tea leaves, etc. It can remove the gas generated by respiration and maintain the original flavour and freshness of the products.
  3. Moisture-proof and mould-proof: Reduce the humidity inside the package to prevent the contents from being affected by moisture and mould, especially suitable for food or chemical products that need to be kept dry.
  4. Self-standing and display: Many valve pouches adopt self-standing design, combined with eight-side seal, four-side seal and other structures, which makes the products more stable and beautiful on the shelves, and improves the display effect of the products.
  5. Customized Printing: Colour printing can be done according to customer's demand, which increases brand recognition and promotes marketing.
  6. Material diversity: usually made of plastic materials (such as PET, PE, PA, etc.), with good sealing, weather resistance and tear resistance, and at the same time comply with food safety standards.

Applications

  1. Food industry: Widely used in food packaging for coffee beans, tea, nuts, crisps and other food products that are easy to oxidise or produce gas, in order to maintain the fresh taste of the food and extend the shelf life.
  2. Agricultural field: Used in the packaging of seeds, feeds and other products to control the internal gas environment and keep the seeds alive or feeds fresh.
  3. Chemical products: Provide protective packaging for certain chemical raw materials or products that need to control gas exchange, such as catalysts and desiccants.
  4. medical supplies: some medical consumables or pharmaceuticals may also use valve packaging to ensure a sterile environment and extend the storage period.
  5. other industrial products: such as electronic components, precision instruments, etc., using the moisture-proof and shock-proof characteristics of the valve packaging bags to ensure the safety of the products during transport.
