Thermal label paper, also known as thermal printing paper, is a specially designed printing medium with a thermal coating on its surface. This coating can quickly produce a chemical reaction when heated, changing the colour (usually from colourless to black), so as to show the text or image. Thermal label paper is mainly used in thermal printers, without ink or ribbon, only through the heat generated by the head of the printer to complete the printing process, greatly simplifying the printing operation and improve work efficiency.

Features

  1. Instant imaging: thermal label paper can display clear text and images at the moment of printing, without waiting for the ink to dry, suitable for rapid printing needs.
  2. No consumables: unlike traditional printing methods, thermal printing does not require ink cartridges or ribbons, reducing the long-term cost of use.
  3. lightweight and compact: because it does not require additional printing supplies, thermal printers and labels more lightweight, easy to carry and mobile use.
  4. High storage requirements: thermal coating is sensitive to heat, light and humidity, and prolonged exposure to these conditions may lead to image fading, so it needs to be stored in a suitable environment.
  5. Environmentally friendly: no ink is used, reducing environmental pollution, but the discarded thermal paper is difficult to degrade and needs to be properly disposed of.
  6. Wide range of applications: Suitable for a variety of label printing, such as merchandise labels, logistics labels, price labels, medical records, etc.
