Meat packaging absorbent pad are mainly composed of highly absorbent resins (SAP), non-woven fabrics or other absorbent materials. These materials have a very high water absorption and retention capacity, creating a relatively dry micro-environment inside the package.
How it works
When meat releases juice or blood during the packaging process, the absorbent mat quickly absorbs and locks in the liquid, preventing it from accumulating inside the package, thus reducing the breeding ground for bacteria and effectively extending the freshness period of the product.
Material Features
Highly absorbent: capable of absorbing hundreds of times its own weight in water.
water locking and non-reverse osmosis: even if the water is squeezed by external force, it is not easy to reverse osmosis and keep the package dry.
Safe and hygienic: food-grade materials, non-toxic and harmless, in line with food safety standards.
Breathability: part of the material is designed with moderate breathability, which helps to regulate the gas environment inside the package and reduce the growth of anaerobic bacteria.
Application Advantages
Enhance the freshness effect: By effectively controlling the humidity inside the package, it reduces the growth of microorganisms and significantly extends the freshness and shelf life of meat products.
Optimise appearance and quality: Keeping the surface of meat products dry, avoiding changes in colour and texture caused by juice soaking, and enhancing consumers' willingness to buy.
Enhance packaging integrity: Reduce juice leakage, protect packaging from contamination, and facilitate transport and storage.
Enhance food safety: Reduce the risk of cross-contamination and protect consumers' health and safety.
Environmentally sustainable: some of the absorbent pads are made of biodegradable materials, which is conducive to environmental protection.
