Parchment paper(base paper), also known as baking paper or baking parchment paper base material, is a specially treated and manufactured specialty paper. It is used for subsequent processing into a specialized baking paper that can withstand high baking temperatures and has anti-adhesive properties.

An integral part of the baking industry, baking paper base paper is made from selected high-quality wood pulp or other fiber raw materials through a specific process, with good physical strength, heat resistance and chemical stability. During the production process, the raw paper is coated with a layer of special material (e.g. silicone resin, etc.) to enable it to prevent food from sticking directly to the baking tray when in contact with the food and to maintain a stable shape and functionality during the baking process.

Features

  1. High Temperature Resistance: The raw paper must be able to withstand baking temperatures of up to 230°C or even higher without burning or producing harmful substances, ensuring food safety and avoiding damage to the baking tray.
  2. Anti-adhesion: The coating layer gives the original paper excellent anti-adhesion characteristics, so that after baking cakes, bread, biscuits and other food can be easily removed from the baking tray to ensure the integrity of the finished product.
  3. Physical Strength: With high strength and toughness, it is not easy to be torn or broken, and maintains a stable shape during handling, folding and use.
  4. Dimensional stability: After strict production process control, the raw paper can maintain good dimensional stability under both wet and dry conditions, avoiding shrinkage and deformation caused by moisture changes during baking.
  5. Non-toxicity and food safety: comply with food safety standards, does not contain harmful ingredients, to ensure that no toxic substances will be released under high-temperature baking, to protect the quality of food.

Application

  • Baking use: Widely used in home and professional kitchens, used in the bottom of the baking tray for baking all kinds of cakes, breads, biscuits, pies and tarts and other baked goods, easy to take off the mold and clean up.
  • Confectionery: When making chocolate, candies and desserts that require release treatment, baking tray paper base paper is also used to assist molding and separation.
  • Frozen food packaging: in addition to high temperature baking, it can also be used as a liner for low-temperature frozen foods to protect them from ice crystal punctures and frostbite.
  • Healthy cooking: It can also replace grease as a separator layer in barbecue or air fryer cooking to reduce fat intake and enhance the cooking experience.
