Aluminium metallized paper is an advanced packaging material that is coated with an extremely thin metallic aluminium layer on the surface of the paper by a special process, which usually involves a combination of vacuum coating technology and a transfer process. The thickness of the aluminium layer ranges from approximately 0.02 μm to 0.04 μm, which not only greatly enhances the paper's barrier properties, but also gives it excellent gloss and flexibility. The material is designed to provide an efficient barrier to oxygen, water vapour and other gases to protect the contents of the packaging from the external environment, extend shelf life and maintain product quality.

Features

  1. High barrier performance: The barrier formed by the aluminium plating layer effectively prevents the penetration of oxygen, water vapour and other gases, providing a high level of protection for products that need to be preserved for a long period of time, such as foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals.

  2. Environmentally friendly and degradable: the waste of aluminium metallized paper is easy to be degraded naturally, and can be oxidized and decomposed quickly even after being discarded, which reduces the pollution to the environment.

  3. Aesthetics: Aluminium-plated surface shows metallic luster, which enhances the attractiveness of the packaging products and is suitable for the packaging of high-end products.

  4. Good printing suitability: the aluminium layer is firm and smooth, easy to accept a variety of printing techniques and treatments to meet the diverse design requirements.

  5. Excellent mechanical properties: even after aluminising, the paper still maintains good flexibility and strength, which makes it easy to be processed and shaped and transported.

  6. Strong adaptability: suitable for different thicknesses of paper or cardboard, ranging from 40g to 450g, which can be flexibly selected according to packaging needs.

Application

  1. food packaging: widely used in dry food, bakery products, coffee, tea, pet food, etc., to keep the food fresh and extend the shelf life.

  2. Tobacco and alcohol industry: such as cigarettes, alcohol packaging, to enhance the product grade, while protecting the internal merchandise from moisture and deterioration.

  3. cosmetics and daily necessities: for perfume, skin care products, toiletries, etc., to prevent oxidation of the ingredients, to maintain product stability.

  4. Medicine and health care products: to provide the necessary isolation protection for medicines and health care products, to ensure the stability of the efficacy of the medicine, to extend the validity period.

  5. Fine packaging: suitable for gifts, handicrafts, electronic products and other high-end products, enhance the sense of value of the product.

  6. Architectural decoration: in some specific decorative materials, such as wallpaper, labels, etc., to take advantage of its unique visual effect and durability.
